Bathroom Shopper
Role
Performance creative, creative concepting, data-informed design, ad resizing and adaptation, landing page support, advertorial design, design production
The challenge
Bathroom Shopper targets an older demographic whose preferences and behaviors differed from what might typically drive contemporary digital design. Existing performance insights showed that straightforward, no-frills creative established greater trust with the audience and converted more effectively, making the challenge to design for performance when it didn’t line up with common aesthetic preference. The new campaign needed to feel fresh enough to introduce new creative concepts while intentionally remaining within the visual language that had already proven effective.
The approach
The first ad campaign I worked on for Bathroom Shopper consisted of familiarizing myself with the brand through production and resizing work, learning the visual patterns used across existing high-performing creative. When developing a new campaign, I used the creative brief and audience considerations to guide my design decisions rather than approaching the work from aesthetics alone
Deliverables
